We arrived without a reservation and they were squeeze us in at the counter. We got the sushi & tempura platter (make sure to arrive before 6:30PM to order it) and honestly it was the best sushi we've had in London. The team and desserts brought the meal from great to amazing. The staff was super friendly and inviting too, and the vibe of the restaurant was chill and cozy. We'll definitely be going back!

Sagamiya is an absolute gem in London! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, family-like atmosphere that feels truly authentic. The miso soup was rich and comforting – the perfect start to the meal. The chicken balls were crispy and flavourful, and the prawn tempura was light, golden, and cooked to perfection. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a genuine Japanese dining experience that feels like a home away from home, Sagamiya is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Small, hidden gem around the corner from the Eye. Was thrilled to find it before our matinee of Witness for the Prosecution, just next door. Lovely little place. Friendly, attentive service. Delicious, fresh sushi, and the best seaweed salad I've ever had!

Great sitting on the sushi bar, having sushi A and enjoying it. The sushi chef is nice and the sushi was good. The fish tasted fresh and the portions are reasonable. I like the fatty tuna and also the salmon out of everything. The place needs some more energy or some atmosphere but it was good overall. Service can have some improvement and be more attentive

Delicious food, we did book a table but did not have the same issue as the others with contacting them. We had the sushi with sashimi plates and am so happy with the freshness of the seafood. Friendly owners. It takes a bit of time as there are only 2 of them and one of them is the chef but we were happy with our wait

I booked this restaurant for my husband’s birthday lunch. It’s a casual sushi restaurant during lunch time, but sushi was even better than we were expecting — and we had high expectations due to some reviews we had read. My husband comes from a Japanese background and was really pleased to see how fresh and authentic everything we ate was. I was mesmerized by the quality of the fish and rice every sushi piece had. They have a great variety of tuna pieces, all of them super fresh and tender. Service was lovely too, the lady who was waiting our table was sweet and explained every question we had. I believe the restaurant is fair priced as well, especially taking both the quality and the location they’re at. I want to go back there for dinner, when they also serve hot meals. Excited

Decent restaurant at Waterloo/Southbank located inside County Hall. It’s a big open kitchen where you can watch their chef prepping all their sushi and sashimi. We arrived and were served swiftly. Even the food came swiftly that we got to feed our rumbling bellies happily. The fish and prawns are fresh which is a plus for us. The only thing I would suggest is to have their seating chairs changed as I felt that the chairs has done it’s time and I felt a little sunken into it when I sat down. Otherwise, it’s a good experience dining here...
